(Source: Selwood)Pump solutions specialist Selwood unveiled a new electric solids handling pump at the recent Aquatech Amsterdam 2017 Exhibition. The UK-based company has introduced a new Super Silent electric drive addition to its S range of solids handling pumps -- the S150 Super Silent 30kW Electric.

Designed to be environmentally friendly, the pump is ideal for a range of water and wastewater, oil and gas, and construction applications. The electric drive Selwood S150 Super Silent is capable of the same performance as Selwood’s 1800rpm diesel-powered model, providing 100mm solids handling, 310m³/h capacity and 27m total head.

A variable speed drive ensures the desired balance between efficiency and performance, depending on the application. Seltorque vortex technology delivers solids handling for demanding applications while inclusion of Selwood’s Super Silent canopy renders this one of the quietest pumps on the market.
