Pizza Hut, Toyota Join Forces to Develop Self-driving Pizza Car
Marie Donlon | January 12, 2018With the goal of providing more efficient pizza delivery services, Pizza Hut and Toyota have teamed up to create self-driving pizza cars.
Presenting a prototype of such a car this week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Toyota expanded on the idea of a self-driving pizza car to include space in the vehicle to potentially cook the pizza as well.
Called the e-Palette, Toyota plans to begin testing the vehicle as soon as 2020.
In the meantime, Toyota and Pizza Hut will collect data from current delivery vehicles in an effort to improve delivery safety and efficiency.
Pizza Hut U.S. president Artie Starrs said in a statement that the company is excited to "define the pizza-delivery experience of the future" with Toyota.
"We are focused on technology-based solutions that enable our team members and drivers to deliver even better customer experiences," Starrs said.

The previous statement was made by Pizza Hut president Artie Starrs..
You think the president of a major corporation would engage his brain before he opened his mouth.
Clue : Driverless cars mean that you might have team members, but you won't have, " drivers "
Doh !

They also have an initiative to work with the current system of cars and drivers which Toyota and Pizza Hut are attempting to make safer. That was the message from the President, thus OK.

I think your dad Homer said it best, " Doh " !
I will never buy a pizza from a company with self driving cars. People need jobs and as technocracy becomes real 20-50% of the work force will be obsoleted. robots. self driving cars and trucks, self piloting boats will but millions out of work. I SAY NO TO THIS AS IT IS A CONSPIRACY TO MAKE NORMAL WORKERS SUFFER EVEN MORE!!!
