The MegaSpense liquid pump head module recently launched by IVEK Corporation represents a precision-engineered, heavy-duty pump designed to meet the demands of critical applications. The MegaSpense stands out for its unique design, allowing for the disassembly of all pump components and the removal and return of the entire module from the motor/base group without recalibration. It features an overall user-friendly design and easily interchangeable components as well as exceptional performance and reliability under challenging operating environments.

One of the key features of the MegaSpense pump module is its efficient flow design, which eliminates dead legs and allows fluid to flow freely through the wetted components without exposure to dead volume areas such as cracks, crevices or threads. The pump module is also designed for easy assembly and disassembly, with a variety of inlet and outlet fittings available, as well as custom fittings upon request. Additionally, the ceramics used in the piston/cylinder sets are extremely hard and resistant to abrasion, ensuring little to no wear even after millions of cycles. They are also compatible with most acids and bases, and their zero porosity guarantees zero retention and carry-over of biological fluids.

Additional features of the MegaSpense pump module include self-priming capability, stainless steel or aluminum motor/base and pump options, stroke length calibration retention after disassembly, and easily replaceable high-performance Teflon or custom seals. The ceramic pump module, which has a flow rate of up to 5 l/minute (1.3 U.S. gpm), is available with optional lip/face seal and gland port for increased sealing and fluid recirculation, respectively. The module's sanitary and chemically resistant design, along with its autoclavable ceramics, make it a versatile and reliable solution for a wide range of applications.
