A new freshwater generation solution developed by Genesis Systems for residential use literally pulls water from the air. The internet of things-enabled appliance is the size of an HVAC unit and uses the company’s renewable water from air technology to sustainably generate more than 100 gallons of fresh water daily from the air, sufficient for a household of four.

The reverse osmosis-based WaterCube 100 system can generate water in low humidity and in lowSource: Genesis SystemsSource: Genesis Systems temperatures. The equipment operates efficiently in ambient humidity ranges of 40% to 100% and temperature of greater than 59° F. A 0.01 micrometer changeable water filter, ultraviolet treatment capability and an air filter are combined to conduct water generation and filtration processes. The resulting water supply meets international water quality standards. The electricity consumed by the fully automated and off-grid water producer is a mere 1 kWh/gal.

A 2024 CES Innovation Award honoree in the Smart Home category, Genesis Systems will showcase the new WaterCube 100 during CES 2024 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, North Hall, booth 9963 from January 9 through January 12, 2024.
