At this week's IoT Tech Expo in Santa Clara, California, newly launched internet of things (IoT) design consultancy Robiotic showcased itsSource: RobioticSource: Robiotic new products. These include the Smart Call connected beer coaster, the Heliscan Plus connected barcode scanner (with Salesforce integration) and Conbee smart tags for tracking shipping containers and other business assets.

The company said that the Smart Call connected beer coaster knows how full a beer glass is to make sure the customer is kept happy. The Heliscan Plus barcode scanner captures location info for companies via GPS.

Attendees at the IoT Tech Expo can listen to Schwingenschloegl speak about logistics and fleet management as part of the Connected Enterprise track on Nov. 29. The panel will be discussing business without borders, including why having an effective connectivity network to enable enhanced technology is crucial to logistics.

In addition, the panel will address how to eliminate delays in routing and loading, and how the ever-increasing complexity of supply chain management is increasing pressure on suppliers. The panel will provide insights about data that can analyze driver behavior, fuel efficiency and predictive maintenance.
