Cameron’s Grove Integrated Seal Technology (IST) ball valve is designed with an innovative sealing concept and reconfigured component geometry, which addresses several operating conditions in critical isolation, shutdown and blowdown service applications. The Grove IST ball valve's integrated seat provides superior sealing performance in a reduced footprint, with operating pressures up to 10,000 psi.
The valve features patented IST. It has a smaller footprint, is 40% lighter and requires 70% less torque compared to conventional trunnion-mounted ball valves.
The integrated seat provides a positive seal at elevated pressures and overcomes leakage issues stemming from component flexing and deformation at high pressures. As critical pressure is applied, the valve's seat becomes energized to overcome ball flexing, providing a superior seal.
In the open position, a patented spoiler in the counter seat diverts fluid and debris away from the sealing area to improve reliability and extend service life. It also features a forged top-entry design that helps streamline maintenance and replacement procedures.
Cameron’s Grove IST ball valve is offered with several different automation options. It provides a long service life, low operating costs and maximizes safety in critical process applications, including floating production storage and offloading, floating liquefied natural gas, offshore and abrasive onshore oil and gas applications.
