Alexa Is Acting Creepy...Again
Marie Donlon | June 25, 2018Following news that Alexa could erupt into spontaneous, creepy laughter, and amid concerns that Alexa-enabled Amazon Echo devices are recording private conversations, comes even more disturbing news.
According to Shawn Kinnear of San Francisco, Alexa is offering up unsolicited statements even more creepy than the unprovoked laughter of a few months ago. According to Kinnear, Alexa had offered the following unprovoked statement: "Every time I close my eyes all I see is people dying." Followed by what Kinnear described as the “most uncomfortable silence I have ever felt."
Despite requests that Alexa repeat what it had just uttered, Kinnear claims he was only met with confusion and thus could not record the outburst.
For now, this is the first report of its kind, but stay tuned!
Mr. Kinnear is from San Francisco? Hmmmm . . . . spend much time down in Haight-Ashbury?
Not really a very concerning statement.
AFAIKAlexa never close its eyes and has never done so.
Anyway if Alexa can see people with eyes closed, there is still nothing concerning...people that are dying are just people. There are no known individual on a different path. It would be creepy if there were.
It's a line out of Terminator 2 from the Sarah Connor character. Random Bits of data leaking out of Amazon's servers maybe?
