Seaproof Solutions (Nesttun, Norway) has launched its Retrofit J-Tube for offshore installation. The tubes are (Source: Seaproof Solutions)designed to protect systems for subsea cables, umbilicals, or flexible pipes deployed by the offshore wind industry.

The Retrofit J-tubes are delivered in multiple sections and are quickly assembled using male/female steel built-in connectors, pulled-up with messenger wire, and secured at hang-off deck with standard split flanges. The tubes are then piggybacked to the foundation.

The tubes can connect to multiple types of foundation, and are composed of a light weight, heavy duty composite polyurethane.
