AFRISO has rolled out a new line of automatic temperature monitoring (ATM) thermal mixing valves designed to control hot water in a number of applications:

  • Sanitary installations
  • Smaller, underfloor heating circuits connected directly to the supply (max. 60° C)
  • Panel heating systems such as wall or underfloor systems requiring a constant mixed water temperature to avoid damage to floors and pipes

If the supply of cold water to the valve is interrupted, hot water supply is automatically closed in order to prevent against scalding.

The valves feature a brass base and high-strength plastic control knob for temperature adjustment, along with a high-strength plastic cap to guard against improper operation. A window in the cap allows viewing of an adjusted temperature scale value (1-6); the cap can also be lead-sealed to prevent unwanted adjustments.

The valves are suitable for drinking water, or water with up to 50 percent glycol.
