As the importance of technology adoption to achieve productivity and efficiency improvements heats up, engineers involved in the food manufacturing or processing sectors are advised to take a seat at this year’s Appetite for Engineering Conference. The event will focus on the challenges and benefits of technology adoption on manufacturing production lines

The free conference, scheduled for March 20, 2025, at the Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry, U.K.,Source: IML Group will host a technology panel discussion with industry experts delving into the most important technologies that food engineers should be looking at to help them partake in recent automation, productivity and efficiency advances. Attendees will have ample opportunity to interact with the panel to find out more about how technologies might help solve their specific problems.

The panel will include Mike Wilson, chair of the U.K. Automation Forum and chief automation officer, Manufacturing Technology Centre; Nathan Lepora from the Smart Cobotics Centre and Bristol University, Bristol Robot Labs; Peter Williamson from Automate UK; and Yianni Alissandratos, proposition lead at Britvic.
