Schweiss Doors has introduced its new vertical hydraulic pump design that reportedly improves component accessibility and saves space.

According to the company, the design provides easier access to the motor, oil filter, gauges and backup tractor fittings. Each unit includes standard hydraulic tractor fittings, allowing the door to be raised or lowered at any time without electricity. The pump can be mounted on the floor, a wall, under a bench or in a back room.

The system also comes equipped with velocity fuses on both cylinders, which lock the hydraulic system in place if a hose or line breaks. This safety feature prevents the door from falling, protecting airplanes, machinery and people.
