MadgeTech, a manufacturer of data loggers, has developed its EggTemp and EggTemp-RH, purpose-built data loggers developed real-for world egg processing and storage.

MadgeTech suggests that using EggTemp and EggTemp-RH, egg producers can monitor every step of eggs' journey, from farm to grocer. Further, MadgeTech notes that temperature or humidity fluctuations will not ruin eggs again thanks to the new data loggers.

The EggTemp monitors temperatures from 0° C to 60° C (32° F to 140° F) with a reported accuracy of ±0.5° C, while the EggTemp-RH features an additional humidity channel, measuring from 0% RH to 95% RH. Both loggers boast a massive storage capacity of over 32,000 readings and customizable reading rates as fast as one reading every two seconds.

Apart from the technical specifications, the EggTemp and EggTemp-RH can fit seamlessly inside egg crates, replicating the exact conditions that real eggs undergo. This design ensures the most accurate and reliable readings, as if monitoring the eggs themselves.
