Verder Liquids recently introduced the latest addition to its Dura range of peristaltic pumps — the Verderflex Dura 80 hose pump. With a range of salient features including high flow, ease of use, simplified maintenance and a compact design, the Verderflex Dura 80 is an ideal solution for industrial applications where high flow and discharge pressure are required.

The specially designed hose reduces power consumption by minimizing the compressed hose’s torque requirements. This reduces the amount of heat produced, which significantly increases hose life. And because the pump hose is the only component that comes into contact with the fluid, abrasive wear on other working parts is minimized, which considerably extends the life of the pump. This makes the Dura 80 ideal for handling abrasive, viscous and solid-laden media.

In addition, the permanently sealed bearings eliminate periodic maintenance and are overrated for the pump’s radial load resulting in quieter and smoother operation, while extending the life of the pump and gearbox.

The Verderflex Dura 80 also features a lifting point that supports the front cover when removal is required and lubricant filling point, to allow easy access without the need to remove other bolting. The access cover at the bottom of the front panel allows cleaning of any debris during hose change to further extend hose life.

The Dura 80 features a flow rate of 42 m³/h (185 U.S. gpm) and a maximum differential pressure of 16 bar (232 psi). With a compact but powerful design, the pump requires 70% less floor space than other peristaltic pumps on the market.
