Search giant Google, together with online learning platform Coursera, has developed a Google Professional Certificates program that lets students enhance their resumes with online courses in the field of technology.

The certificate courses are offered in tech fields such as data analytics, project management, UX (user experience) design, IT support and IT automation. Students, according to Google, do not need prior experience or background knowledge in any of the tech fields to sign up for the courses.

The certificate courses are designed to enhance resumes and to broaden the range of careers that students are eligible to pursue.

According to Google, more than 80% of the students who have already completed courses and earned certificates report improved professional outcomes including new jobs, pay raises or promotions within six months of course completion.
