An updated resource that covers water quality fundamentals for consumers and industry professionals alike is now available from the Water Quality Association (WQA), a trade association representing the residential, commercial and industrial water treatment industry.

Water Treatment for Dummies: Second Edition is available both online on a complimentary basis and in a low-Source: WQAcost printed version, revised and expanded with new facts, figures and statistics. A new section addresses unregulated emerging contaminants, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, and relevant treatment solutions. The updated edition also offers tips for consumers served by a community water supply or by private wells and guidance on how to verify product certification. New information is included on anti-scaling devices, alkalizers/ionizers and equipment maintenance.
