Source: RTKIndustrial control valve manufacturer Regeltechnik Kornwestheim (RTK) has introduced the RTK Discharge and Pump Protection Control Valve.

According to the manufacturer, the RTK Discharge and Pump Protection Control Valve offers a solution for all industrial processes that incorporate pumps, such as condensate pumps, boiler feedwater pumps or low-pressure centrifugal pumps.

The RTK control valve reportedly works as two valves in one bringing together a pump-protection recirculation valve and a control valve. As such, the valve not only cuts costs, but it also increases the life span of pumps by regulating the main flow and the recirculation flow with one valve. The recirculation feature provides an inline-adjustable recirculation port, which allows users to control the valve inline while the pump is working.
