The Google Arts and Culture App, originally meant to give users access to the world of fine art offering users virtual tours of over 1,000 museums, now lets users take selfies to compare with images in works of art.

Currently number 1 on both the iOS App Store and Google Play Store, the free app is available throughout most of the U.S.

To get started, Google asks: "Is your portrait in a museum?" Take a selfie and search thousands of artworks to see if any look like you." Once captured, the selfie is then compared to works of art and eventually, using artificial intelligence, Google returns some suggested resemblances.
