Nothing to Sneeze At: Tissue Maker Comes to Georgia

Canada-based Irving Consumer Products plans to build a $400 million paper tissue manufacturing facility in Macon-Bibb County, Georgia.
Engineering and planning for the facility are underway. Construction is set to begin this summer and is expected to be completed in 2019.
Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) Senior Project Manager Wylly Harrison represented the Global Commerce division in partnership with MBCIA, Norfolk Southern, Georgia Power and Georgia Quick Start.
Irving Consumer Products manufactures household paper products and baby diaper products.
