Hyperco has announced the expansion of its Dual Rate UHT Coil-Over Springs product line with two new spring designs. The new springs are ideal for late model motor racing applications offering drivers additional spring rate options. These products expand the Hyperco catalog to meet the needs of a racing team.
The Dual Rate UHT Coil-Over Springs offer the performance of an optimized stacked coil-over spring assembly in a single spring. The product numbers are 12B0230/700UHT and 14B0230/700UHT. They range from 12 in. to 16 in. and are made from high tensile chrome silicon with a Hyperco dark blue powder coat.
The springs have a low initial spring rate and are designed to absorb minor undulations and increase grip with a transition point and range to a secondary higher spring rate in order to improve roll control during cornering. The placement of the transition range in the spring displacement allows for accurate shock valving. The initial rate is linear and the transition range on the secondary rate is short.
The springs are now available for purchase at Hyperco.
