Restek’s new Raptor Liquid Chromatography (LC) columns combine the speed of superficially porous particles (SPP) with the resolution of Ultra Selective Liquid Chromatography (USLC) technology.

SPP were designed to provide fast separation without the need for advanced instrumentation. Their solid core enveloped by a thin porous layer of silica decreases the diffusion path and reduces peak dispersion.

The new Raptor LC columns bond rugged 2.7 and 5 μm SPP with Restek’s unique USLC phases in order to provide increased resolution along with the already accelerated analysis time. The new species of columns offers increased sample throughput with existing HPLC instrumentation and long-lasting ruggedness for dependable reproducibility.
