Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners hired E.ON Energy Services to provide services for its 196.7 megawatt Bearkat I wind farm in Glasscock County, Texas.

The facility is currently under construction and E.ON Energy Services will provide onsite construction management and project management. Black & McDonald is the EPC contractor building the facility.

Construction is expected to be complete by the end of 2017. The site will use Vestas turbines.

In addition to construction management and transition support from late stage development to operational COD, E.ON will provide on-site supervision and balance of plant management, energy management, and QSE scheduling, as well as asset management services.

Bearkat I is the Denmark-based firm's second wind project under construction in the U.S.
