What Bush assesses:

• Condition of vacuum equipment. Busch conducts a visual inspection of an entire vacuum installation. This includes all valves, filters and gauges, as well as the piping that connects the pumps to each other and the machinery in the process. They also check whether there is any possibility of contamination and how this can be minimized. • Environment. Vacuum equipment has a huge effect on its environment — and vice versa. Busch assesses factors such as noise emissions, water usage and venting, as well as external factors such as temperature and dust levels. They check whether these are in the recommended ranges for the pump, or whether changes need to be made.
• Energy consumption. Energy usage is a key factor in total operating costs. Vacuum diagnostics includes a thorough examination of the vacuum technology, system design and control of the vacuum supply — all factors that significantly influence the energy consumption patterns of vacuum equipment.

Execution of vacuum diagnostics
