The rolling flight case contains a freely positionable, fiber-coupled Raman probe with a laser, spectrometer and laptop computer. Engineered to provide high signal sensitivity, diffraction-limited resolution and confocality, the equipment enables measurements through and within transparent materials. Detailed sample surveys are aided by inclusion of white-light illumination and a color video camera.
The alphaCART leverages the modularity of the alpha300 microscope series as well as its range of upgrade options and accessories. Excitation lasers of various outputs are available in 532 nm, 633 nm or 785 nm.
The system is ideal for investigations conducted in the field, such as archeological studies, or in the materials sciences or civil engineering realms where experiments are often performed away from conventional laboratory spaces.
