A multifunctional sampler developed by Italy-based HTA speeds and simplifies sample processing by means of artificial intelligence (AI). The 2800T all-in-one autosampler is equipped to automate headspace analysis, liquid sample injection and solid phase microextraction in any gas chromatography (GC) and GC-mass spectrometry system.

Integrated AI functionalities effectively contribute to streamline laboratory workflow and simplify sample processing. The 2800T requires only 5 minutes to switch between modalities and 5 minutes to move between GCs. In this abbreviated timeframe, users can move the autosampler from one GC to another, swap autosamplers or share instrumentation among several GCs to face any workload peak.

System accessibility and usability are assured by one-touch operation, as users need only push a ‘start’ button after a sample is loaded. The 2800T can also be computer-controlled with optional HTA Autosampler Manager software.

To provide additional robustness to liquid sample analysis, 2800T features SyringeID, a patented technology based on radio frequency ID tags. The SyringeID is optional and provides the capability to identify syringes, preventing errors when mounting a syringe and syringe volume mismatching and keeping track of their consumption rapidly and accurately.
