Elliott Equipment recently introduced its new D47 digger derrick. The D47 is a high-performance digger derrick that is designed to meet the needs of distribution applications.

With a reported 26,000 lb maximum lifting capacity, the D47 serves a range of lifting and material handling tasks. It also has a 17 ft to 26 ft digging radius, which makes it capable of reaching hard-to-reach areas. Additional features of the D47 include 46 kV insulation, independent boom operation, transferable pole guide, line body and rear mounted hydraulic tool circuit.

The D47 also offers full pressure, open center hydraulic controls, hydraulic side load protection, a planetary swing drive and winch motor, which are typically found on larger machines and a control console with high back air suspension seat.
