Reinventing dump truck design might seem, on the surface, like reinventing the wheel, but an innovative design of the popular dump insert manufactured specifically for short- and standard-bed pickup trucks is said to provide not only a cleaner fit but also increased payload capacity by up to 10 percent from older models.

Using stabilizing stake pockets in the truck’s side rails, the dump system also relies on a series of cables that lay the gate down more gently and smoothly. The gate also has been reengineered to include a more durable and easy-to-grip single point handle.

The dump unit’s fit is more flush with the truck’s side rails, minimizing what had been a problem of dirt and other materials making their way onto the truck bed. The unit also offers a 46-degree dump angle, which helps to assure a clean dump.
