Construction equipment manufacturer Hamm has developed the HP 100i articulated pneumatic-tire roller based on the HD+ series.

The pneumatic-tire roller was designed for the chipseal process and features five wheels on the front axle and four wheels on the rear axle.

The equipment’s reported working width is 1.7 meters, and the overlapping of the tire tracks allows for consistent compaction. Further, the roller is driven by a 55.4 kW Deutz engine.

The HP 100i is offered with 6 ton, 8 ton or 10 ton operating weights. Weight is adjusted using ballast kits that use individual modules that may be attached or detached as necessary. Additionally, the 700 liter capacity water tank can be used for ballasting. Meanwhile, the roller can also be equipped with a water-sprinkling system, scrapers for the tires, thermal aprons and the Hamm Temperature Meter (HTM).

Hamm offers the pneumatic-tire roller with open operator’s platform, including ROPS, with protective roof or with a ROPS cab.
