Industrial demand for large capacity hydrogen production systems is increasing, and H-TEC SYSTEMS has responded with the development of a scalable system based on polymer electrolyte membrane technology.

The standardized blocks comprising the Modular Hydrogen Platform (MHP) each have an electrolysis performance of 10 MW and can be combined into systems with an electrolysis power output of 100 MW or more. The MHP incorporates proven S450 stack technology and delivers an efficiency of 77% at 30 bar and nominal hydrogen production of 4,600 kg/day/2,130 Nm3/hour.

Pre-assembled skids streamline indoor installation projects, and each 10 MW block is equipped with integrated process water treatment and an electric power supply. The MHP system can be supplemented with process heat recovery, fresh water and hydrogen treatment equipment as required,

Redundancy is built into the MHP system: specific sections of the electrolyzer can be shut down in the event of a stack failure or during scheduled maintenance as the rest of the system continues to operate.
