Pfeiffer Vacuum introduces new ACP 90 Multi-stage Roots pumps
Diana Aoun | December 04, 2022Pfeiffer Vacuum recently introduced its new Multi-stage Roots pumps — the ACP 90 range, specifically designed for oil- and particle-free applications in the pressure range between atmosphere up to 3x10-2 hPa. ACP 90 pumps can deliver strong performance to meet the requirements where clean and dry vacuum is needed in applications such as drying, sterilization, coating as well as semiconductor and research and development.
Thanks to their unique pumping cell design and the use of high-quality materials, ACP 90 pumps are resistant to corrosive gases and offer a high pumping capacity of condensable gases. The pump is equipped with a high gas ballast and smart management of high inlet pressure. This makes the ACP 90 an ideal solution when pumping large amounts of condensable gases in drying applications, for high humidity environments or for large insulating volume pumping.

With built-in intelligence, ACP pumps achieve high pumping speeds at high pressures, which is important when pumping large volumes. Furthermore, the ACP 90 combines a high suction speed of greater than 50 m3/h with a low power consumption of 2 kW at atmospheric pressure. The ACP 90 is equipped with a high efficiency permanent magnet motor with premium efficiency IE4. This ensures low power consumption even at high pressure.
In addition, the integrated air-cooling system enables the pump to be self-sufficient. Therefore, no other connections such as water pipes are required. The pump also fulfills CE and UL/CSA standards.
