Robot for heavy payloads to ship in Q1 2022

The FANUC M-1000iA Heavy-Payload Industrial Robot is capable of handling heavier payloads — up to 1,000 kg — such as those from automotive components, electric vehicle (EV) battery packs and construction materials.

According to its developers, the FANUC M-1000iA Heavy-Payload Industrial Robot’s serial-link construction gives the robot a wider range of motion in each direction. Reportedly, the robot has demonstrated 3,253 mm horizontal reach and a 4,297 mm vertical reach.
Designed to help manufacturers to increase output and maximize production line efficiency, the robot is powered by the FANUC R-30ib Plus Controller.
The FANUC M-1000iA Heavy-Payload Industrial Robot will begin shipping in the first quarter of 2022.
