By identifying pollutant gases and particles in real time, the new AQT530 sensor advances Vaisala’s offering to improve decision-making and empower stakeholders in urban communities.

The AQT530 sensor can be connected to customer’s own system or to Vaisala’s innovative weather and Source: VaisalaSource: Vaisalaenvironmental intelligence platform. When paired with Vaisala Beacon Weather Station and Wx Beacon user interface for measurement data, stakeholders also gain access to additional key weather parameters, plus connectivity to transfer, manage and visualize all of the data.

The sensor proactively measures nitrogen dioxide, nitric oxide, ozone and carbon monoxide as well as PM2.5 and PM10 particulate matter. Proprietary advanced algorithms compensate for the impact of ambient conditions and intelligent humidity management improves the lifetime of electrochemical cells.

Each device provides unparalleled data protection and integrity and sends measurement data wirelessly to a web-based database with a gateway solution. The data is also available to local systems through open application programming interfaces, driving down exposure to pollution hotspots.
