Doosan will offer a 2D machine control factory-installed option that includes rugged Trimble hardware for the harsh conditions of construction sites. The Trimble Earthworks software application runs on an included 10-inch Android tablet display.

With Trimble Earthworks, excavator operators can more easily create smooth, flat or sloped surfaces. In Autos mode, the operator controls the stick and the software controls the boom and bucket to stay on grade, reducing overcut and increasing production. The automation of this operation contributes to consistent grade with high accuracy in less time.

A 3D upgrade may be available through a local SITECH dealer. Interested contractors should work with their Doosan dealer to obtain the upgrade. SITECH, Trimble's global distribution network and local Doosan dealer technology partner, provides installation services, personalized training and local technical support for Trimble construction technology.

Factory-installed Trimble machine control for Doosan crawler excavators is now available in North America from the Doosan dealer network.
