Ross manufactures inline high shear mixers to meet a range of dispersion, emulsification and homogenization requirements in the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, ink, adhesives, chemicals and coatings industries. Completely portable explosion-proof models are available and can be supplied with a NEMA 7/9 operator station pre-wired and mounted to the mobile mixer cart.

Kalrez elastomers make the rotor/stator mixer suitable for use in extreme-duty processes with chemically aggressive fluids.

Ultra high shear models include four stage or greater rotors that turn at speeds to 15,000 ft per minute within a stationary stator. As the rotating blades pass the stator, they mechanically shear the contents. A simple valve can divert finished products downstream or switch instantly from one vessel to another.

All stainless steel construction, sanitary tri-clamp connections, 3 A stamp, double mechanical seal, washdown motor and other options are also available.
