Advanced Technology Services Inc. (ATS) has invested and partnered with Nikola Labs Inc. to help digitally transform the maintenance strategy of manufacturers.

The companies will combine their industrial internet of things (IIoT) solutions using an all-in-one solution of sensors, remote monitoring, analytics and actionable insights to power smart factories of the future.

The ATS command center combines data-driven analytics, engineering and maintenance best practices to improve MRO on the production floor. Benefits include reduced dependency on labor, the elimination of OEM field services and knowledge of ATS to increase the speed and breadth of troubleshooting while lowering costs.

The solution offers onsite installation of connecting to a secure cloud-based platform that can be integrated with various computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). The platform provides asset alerts at a rate of 240 times the traditional monthly route-based sensors. Data analysts monitor machine assets in real-time to provide the focus needed to improve uptime and interactive dashboard detail alerts and allow for proactive maintenance before a machine fails.
