Advanced set-up options allow tailoring to specific applications. The MXb comes with 500 times more storage capacity than previous designs, which enables superior process monitoring, data logging and information feedback. The advanced display provides real-time torque graphs, alarm and event logs, and other data in high resolution.

Electrical reliability is of upmost importance when operating in extreme environments. That is why the MXb actuator is designed with critical electrical components isolated from electrical shock and external interference. The use of superior components and materials of construction ensure advance thermal and electrical resistance ratings, promoting longer service life and durability.

The design of the Limitorque MXb actuator allows for simplified maintenance requirements with an electrical board that uses latch and eject connectors, eliminating the need for screws and specialized tools. The design also protects against electrical connectivity issues that may arise due to vibration.

Flowserve has also made the display and control electronics assembly backwards compatible with previous MX actuator models. This enables customers to easily upgrade existing units using a simple conversion kit without having to replace the entire actuator.
