Robot manufacturer Agility has announced that its manual labor robots are now available for purchase with a price tag of $250,000.

The Digit robot is a headless and handless human-like robot — capable of removing boxes from shelves, loading trucks and bending over and picking up boxes — available for purchase that can autonomously carry out functions within warehouses and manufacturing spaces.

With its two arms and two legs, the robot can replace human laborers in such spaces who are already in short supply due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other factors. According to Agility, the robots can work among humans without making modifications to the space to accommodate the robots.
