Fluid conditioning technology company Schroeder Industries has introduced its Schroeder Varnish Elimination Unit (VEU).
The VEU is used to prepare mineral oils and it effectively removes oil-insoluble aging products (varnish) from those oils. For instance, varnish deposits tend to settle in hydraulic reservoirs, valves or in the turbine bearings of lubrication systems, plastic injection molding machines, industrial forges and presses and other components, which affect reliability and damage critical hydraulic components.
The VEU is now available with a water-cooled heat exchanger option for higher fluid temperature applications.
