Pfeiffer Vacuum has released the Hena 50 and 70, single-stage, oil-sealed rotary vane pumps specifically Source: Pfeiffer Vacuumdeveloped for the demanding requirements of mass spectrometer systems in laboratories.

The devices achieve pumping speeds of between 32 and 59 m³/h, depending on their size and speed of rotation. The pumps are equipped with an integrated oil mist separator to ensure clean exhaust air and a frequency converter that enables deployment with single-phase input and identical pump capacity for 50 and 60 Hz.

The company said that a constantly high flow rate in the target pressure range, adjustable pumping speeds and low final vacuum contribute to the instrument’s high performance. Long maintenance intervals and operating hours are ensured by the high oil volume in the pumps and their low oil temperature during operation.

Both the Hena 50 and 70 are easy to integrate due to their low noise level and efficient oil separation and both are certified according to UL and IEC 61010.
