Manufacturer of sanitary positive displacement pumps and products, Unibloc Pump has launched its new QuickStrip FoodFirst (QS FF) 600 pump as part of its QuickStrip series, which is intended for the food processing industry.

Source: Unibloc PumpThe QS FF 600 pump requires fewer parts, features one-way assembly and is designed to incur less damage during cleaning, where oftentimes foreign material can be introduced into the process stream.

Composed of stainless steel, the pump also includes fully stainless rotors and new safety features to help front cover O-rings and rotor bolts from introducing foreign content.

The pump’s specifications enable it to operate entirely without a front cover O-ring, thereby eliminating the risk of introducing contamination via the O-ring tearing or pinching.

Additionally, the QS FF 600 also features a single rotor bolt for easy reassembly following cleaning. Likewise, a simplified locking mechanism keeps the rotor bolt fixed in place, and new reverse threading of the shaft keeps the rotor bolt from loosening or backing out during processing.
