GN Solids Contol’s GNLW554EP decanter centrifuge and solids vacuum pump for oil sludge treatment is equipped with features that prolong its life while removing solids content from water and oil mixtures.

The GN EP series decanter centrifuge dewaters slurries with high solids content. Wear components in the bowl assembly are manufactured from tungsten carbide, the screw blade is fully welded with a 4 mm thick tungsten carbide plate and the slurry distribution port and solids discharge port are protected with tungsten carbide bushings.

A large length to diameter ratio allows slurries to remain in the bowl longer for improved classification and a centrifugal casting technology is used to improve bowl material distribution for improved dynamic balancing. Continuous lubrication and cooling systems then ensure improved stability.

The decanter centrifuge reduces work loading of subsequent oil and water separation equipment and their pneumatic driven vacuum pump is an ideal solution for transferring sticky oil sludge.
