This allows for the acquisition of formation fluids at targeted locations. The platform also provides precision flow rate control with the ability to divert mud-filtrates and capture truly representative reservoir fluid samples.

The new wireline testing platform is rated to 392° F and 35,000 psi and can be deployed in challenging environments including high-pressure, high-temperature wells, tight oil plays and unconsolidated formations.

The platform maintains effective control over the flow rate ranging from 0.1 to 200 cm³ a second and handles differential pressures up to 8,000 psi. The connected, highly-automated system handles challenging fluids and provides operators with real-time metrology for reservoir characterization and reserve estimations with the ability to maximize production, expedite completion strategies and increase operational efficiency of field developments.
