Twitter has evolved beyond a simple platform for people to post any thought they conjure. It now has a page dedicated to news, an expanded character limit from 140 to 280 characters, and many companies, news sources and celebrities use it as their main contact with fans and followers.

According to a Pew Research Center study, 74% of active users depend on Twitter for their news. Whether Twitter creator Jack Dorsey meant to or not, he created a major news source for many people. An Omnicore study found that there were 326 million monthly active users in 2018. That is a lot of people to choose from. Below are 10 accounts to consider while curating a perfect Twitter feed.

Interesting Engineering keeps its followers informed on all the latest developments in technology and engineering. This account doesn’t just focus on popular innovations like artificial intelligence or virtual reality.
