Designed with improved safety in mind, the connected material handling solution also reduces labor costs and increases productivity for some of the world’s largest companies choosing to embrace the benefits of a smart factory.
Seegrid manufactures vision-guided vehicles (VGV) backed by their fleet management software. Their GT 10 Series 6 self-driving tow tractor is their newest solution, equipped with rear-facing sensors in the fork's tips.
Rear-facing vision capabilities remove additional human touchpoints, including the hitch. The flexible solution also incorporates artificial intelligence as it captures and builds a three-dimensional map of the factory floor. It memorizes trained routes to ensure consistent delivery of goods with the power to retrain routes in-house in minutes to complete different functions or shifts.
Seegrid is an innovative supplier with a connected solution that helps accelerate lean initiatives as suppliers embrace Industry 4.0. Their smart platform consists of their VGV’s and fleet management software, Seegrid Supervisor, which gives complete visibility from fleet status and programmed notifications to productivity metrics.
