Data Device Corporation (DDC) introduced the new 1-14683-R 280W converter for IFEC electronics and USB charging ports for portable electronic devices (PED). It can supply 28 V power for up to 18 aircraft seats with a space saving design that makes it ideal for aircraft power solutions.

The device offers best-in-class power efficiency greater than 92 percent with a power factor greater than 0.95 at 115VAC 400Hz and max load. It is a safe, reliable power converter that features over-current protection, thermal shut-down and short-circuit protection.
