Buehler, an ITW company and manufacturer of value-added consumables and specialty material testing equipment, announces the second hardness testing webinar focusing on metallurgical applications and case studies. The complimentary webinars are available in five different time zones and three languages (English, German and French). They will be running from January 23-30, 2018.

Topics of the hardness testing webinars include:

  • Calibration of hardness testers
  • Surface and core hardness checks
  • Case hardening depth analysis and different measurement options
  • Weld testing and analysis — ISO 9015
  • Hardness mapping and its relations to residual stress analysis with examples for welds and additive manufacturer components
  • Fractured toughness (K1C) measurements on brittle materials

Technicians and engineers can register for a preferred time and receive access to the webinar for later replay. Certificates will also be issued to attendees.
