Teledyne LeCroy has released an upgrade to its Voyager USB analyzer platform to provide coverage for USB Power Delivery (PD) and USB Type-C compliance tests.

The Voyager M310P supports eye-diagram capture and bit-error-rate test functionality to provide one-stop verification for PD and USB Type-C compliance. The addition of this new platform increases the number of test specifications addressed by Teledyne up to four.

The platform uses built-in traffic emulation modes for USB PD and for the noise immunity tests, the device incorporates an arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) designed to generate an aggressor signal that matches the frequency spectrum of the USB 2.0 signal.

The M310P will begin shipping in August.
