Rolls-Royce Launches Aluminum-based "Everywhere Vehicle"
February 19, 2015Rolls-Royce says it will build an “everywhere vehicle” for its next series, joining the list of automakers with sport utility vehicles (SUVs).
The vehicle will be built on an aluminum platform currently being designed and built in-house at Rolls-Royce. The company says it will take input from customers throughout the development process.
Rolls Royce says the vehicle will be a “car that offers the luxury of a Rolls-Royce in a vehicle that can cross any terrain.”
A key Rolls-Royce rival, Bentley, is expected to unveil its Bentayga SUV later this year.
