Corning Advanced Optics microHSI™ 410 SHARK (Selectable Hyperspectral Airborne Remote Sensing Kit) is specifically designed for integration with highly compact UAVs. The compact foot print weighs just 1.8 lbs. allowing it to be integrated with low-cost drones and in turn opening a new world of possibilities for their 0.4 to 1.0 um hyperspectral sensor.
The microHSI™ 410 sensor delivers exceptional imaging performance by employing state-of-the-art high quantum efficiency (QE) CMOS focal plane array (FPA) technology along with Corning’s proprietary grating technology. Its outstanding throughput and signal to noise ratio (SNR) is capitalized on with exceptional spectral fidelity and spatial resolution.
The complete turn-key system includes the high performance HSI sensor, a microprocessor control and data acquisition subsystem, solid state data storage, a precision MEMS-based close coupled GPS/Inertial Navigation System (INS) and a rechargeable, swappable battery.
Enhanced performance in the NIR regions addresses needs in the commercial remote sensing market and is particularly well suited for precision agriculture, environmental terrain and vegetation assessment and management and mineral exploration.
