CH2M has signed a framework agreement with Shell to provide engineering, procurement, construction, and project management services across upstream, integrated gas and downstream projects globally.

A statement from CH2M says the agreement is in line with "continuing efforts to make transformational improvements in capital project delivery efficiency in the oil and gas sector."

No details were given regarding the duration of the agreement or payment terms.

Denver, Colo., based CH2M will deploy its safety management system, improve capital project execution, and drive technology and project management innovation. CH2M will focus on delivering projects for Shell's operating sites and business units.

Sheila Galegher, vice president and CH2M's Global Account Manager for Shell, said in the statement, "We are ready to be the change agent Shell needs to deliver on their goals."
