At IMTS 2026, SMW Autoblok will be featuring the SLX Digit vise: a hydraulic long-stroke vise featuring integrated sensor technology that is built for automated quick jaw changes. Ideal for precision machining and robotic automation, it offers self-centering clamping, extra-long jaw strokes and a fully sealed design for low maintenance.

The vise is ideal for lights-out high-mix, low-volume (HMLV) production environments where full automation is a priority.

The SLX Digit offers a jaw stroke of 55 mm per jaw (110 mm total) and a clamping force of up to 75 kN. An integrated LPS 4.0 sensor system delivers jaw position monitoring, ensuring that each part load and unload is completed successfully.

SLX Digit vises are fully sealed, minimizing contamination from chips and coolant. Integrated hydraulic safety valves ensure the clamping force is maintained even if there is an unexpected pressure drop.

SMW Autoblok will be exhibiting at IMTS 2026, September 14 through September 19, in the West Hall in Booth 431617 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.
